French Fables

To mark the end of the Baudelaire Song Project at the University of Birmingham, discover legendary creatures and forces of nature in settings of songs featuring the major nineteenth-century French poet Charles Baudelaire. Join the Winner of Oxford Lieder’s Young Artist Platform 2018, contralto Jess Dandy and artistic director Sholto Kynoch, for the Birmingham premiere of new music by Cheryl Frances-Hoad, alongside songs by Saint-Saëns, Offenbach and Gounod.
