No early music festival would be complete without paying homage to George Frideric Handel. Leading Scottish Baroque ensemble the Dunedin Consort do just that with a programme that includes Handel’s 1709-10 Cantata Apollo and Daphne, a work that was indicative of the great operas that followed. Soloists Rowan Pierce and Matthew Brook take to the stage in the eponymous roles of this Greek Myth.
