Scottish guitarist Malcolm MacFarlane is a prolific writer, touring and recording artist, and is a lecturer at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire. He has recorded more than 20 albums and performed and toured across the world with the likes of the BBC Radio Big Band, Marc Antoine, Maria Schneider, and Florian Ross amongst many others.

Invited to perform with the University Jazz Orchestra by fellow Scot Jonathan Silk, Malcolm brings his own compositions to the group and features as guest soloist.
