Barber Evening Concert

Back in 2021, Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha made fans across the globe with her performances at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, and now, as a current BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, lauches our 24/25 Evening Concert season. As comfortable on the opera stage as in an intimate recital, her versatile voice has won her accolades the world over. She is joined by leading art song pianist and University of Birmingham alumnus, Joseph Middleton.

Their programme will include Samuel Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, works by Strauss and Mahler, plus a selection of spirituals and South African songs.
