DESCRIPTION:University Music is the University’s music-making club, open to all students and staff, as well as the local community. As part of our work to develop the skills of young musicians we offer 15 scholarships a year to non-music students who show themselves to be skilled musicians. Through this scholarship scheme we hope to encourage talented students to continue making-music in the future and even go on to have professional careers or study music at postgraduate level. In this lunchtime concert a selection of scholars perform repertoire of their own choice and showcase their talents.\n
