Lauren Morris, MA Music - Performance Pathway

The Bramall Music Scholarship has enabled me to satisfy my thirst for knowledge through postgraduate study. Studying Masters in Music Performance has not only made me a more well-informed musician, but also a more confident and well -rounded performer. Whilst at University of Birmingham I have been offered various performance opportunities which have armed me with valuable experience and helped me grow as a singer. All of this would not have been made possible for me, had it not been for the Bramalls’ extremely kind and generous gift.

Lauren Gregory, MA Music - Performance Pathway

Receiving a Bramall scholarship has made a world of difference to me this year. Studying towards an MA has allowed me to explore the art of accompaniment, and continue to widen my understanding of music history and context. I have recently set up a music school based in Solihull, offering lessons and workshop opportunities to many students. This would not have been possible without the performance, presentation, academic, and people skills I have developed during this two year course. I am extremely grateful to have been awarded this scholarship, and hope that future recipients will enjoy their time at the University of Birmingham as much as I have.
