Word Music Image event

Dates
Friday 29 March 2019 (10:00-17:00)

The next LCAHM ‘Word Music Image’ event will be a workshop/performance for academic staff and creative practitioners, which will take place on Friday 29th March.

This promises to be a fascinating event that will enable us to explore possibilities for future research collaboration both within and beyond the University.

The event will be held in two parts, starting with the workshop from 10am-2pm in Muirhead 715. We have a small number of places available for this workshop, so if you would like to attend (and have any special dietary requirements), please let me know by Monday 25th March.

The day will conclude with a performance by Catalan artist Marcel-lí Antúnez in the Barber Lecture Theatre. This event will be a real highlight of the day, and a superb showcase for the kind of work that our colleagues (in this case Elisenda Marcer, to whom we owe an enormous debt of gratitude for bringing Marcel-lí to Birmingham) are doing with creative practitioners. The performance is free, and all are welcome, though it would be useful if you could confirm your attendance to wordmusicimage@gmail.com as soon as possible, please.

Agenda:

10am: Arrival and Welcome (Muirhead 715)
