What might you discover if you use your ears instead of your eyes to find out about the natural world?

Explore, listen and record sounds of nature in your local area with sound artists Emma Margetson and Nikki Sheth. The project will result in a collective sound map using your recordings captured around Birmingham and beyond. The Sound Explorers sound map will be launched at the BEAST FEaST 2021 festival, encouraging curiosity through exploration and investigation to promote a love of nature!

Become a sound explorer and record noises of nature that you can find around you - and be inspired by the art in our galleries to make your very own 3D landscape!
