Blaine is a PhD student who works with the Mathematical Biology group, under the supervision of Dr Fabian Spill. Their main interest is the feedback between the evolution of bodily cells and the development of chronic diseases. They study this using reaction-diffusion equations, and are interested in both applications and developing theory.
