The School of Psychology has an excellent track record in research and the Centre’s philosophy to ensure psychology is applied in forensic settings in an evidence-based manner means that research is an important part of our work at the University of Birmingham.
Our expertise in conducting applied psychological research is reflected in our membership of external committees including the Research Board of the National Association for the Treatment of Abusers (NOTA), the Association for the Treatment of Abusers’ (ATSA) Research Committee, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Agency’s (CEOP) Research Panel, and HMP Grendon Underwood Research Committee.
