Verena obtained her undergraduate and Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Konstanz, Germany with the focus on Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Neurosciences, Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology.
During her undergraduate she worked as a research assistant under Prof. Dr Harald Schupp, conducting EEG and fMRI studies.
During her Masters she worked under the supervision of Dr. Simon Hanslmayr investigating the role of alpha/beta oscillatory activity during episodic memory retrieval. Verena is currently a PhD student at the University of Birmingham.
