Title of PhD: Decision making and executive function in Cornelia de Lange syndrome

Supervisors: Professor Chris Oliver and Dr Sarah Beck

Vicky is interested in the nature and developmental trajectory of executive function skills in Cornelia de Lange syndrome and how this relates to the difficulties in decision making that parents have reported.

Biography

Vicky has a First Class BSc in Psychology from the University of Birmingham. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered as a telephone counsellor for a children’s charity. Before starting her PhD, Vicky worked as an honorary research associate for the Cerebra Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders and as a support worker in a brain injury unit.
