Juan Linde is undertaking doctoral research about the computational processes that the human brain is able to perform reducing the interference between new information and stored memories.

Biography

Juan Linde studied Psychology at the University of Granada (Spain) before starting a Masters in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience at the same university. Between his Master studies and his current PhD he was performing research about false memories in patients with schizophrenia. He started the Midlands Integrative Biosciences Training Partnership in October 2014.

Research

Research interests

Juan Linde is interested in episodic memory and specifically in computational processes as pattern separation. He is also interested in using neuroimaging techniques (like EEG and fMRI) and behavioral approaches to study the neural states that are optimal to encode and retrieve episodic memories.
