Title of PhD: Regret and decision making in neurologically damaged patients
Supervisors: Dr Sarah Beck and Professor Glyn Humphreys
Caroline Putt is undertaking doctoral research investigating counterfactual thinking, regret and decision making in neurologically impaired patients. To gain a full understanding of the neurological processes involved in counterfactual thinking and decision making, I research the component processes of counterfactual emotions and investigate the brain areas that facilitate behavioral modification.
