Cecilia conducted her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico. After finishing her studies, she worked for a year at a school for children diagnosed with ASD. Then, she studied an MSc. in Developmental Disorders at Lancaster University. Under the supervision of Professor Gert Westermann, she worked in the Lancaster University´s Baby Lab studying how infants learn and remember words related to adjectives and object properties. After finishing her degree, she went back to Mexico where she worked as a preschool teacher and as a child therapist for infants diagnosed with language, learning or developmental disorders. Currently she is conducting her PhD in Psychology under the supervision of Dr Andrea Krott where she is studying Late Talker and how their vocabulary can be enhanced.
