Welcome to the studies recruitment site for the School of Psychology at the University of Birmingham. We often need participants for either online studies or studies taking place at the University of Birmingham campus.
These usually involve filling in questionnaires that might ask about your personality, feelings, eating habits and lifestyle. We will let you know about the topic of the questionnaire and how long it will take to complete it before you decide to take part. Most online studies will include the chance to win money or vouchers as compensation for taking part.
Studies on campus
On campus studies may involve filling in questionnaires, reading a text and answering questions about it, tasting different foods and rating them or completing simple computer based tasks. Occasionally, we also have opportunities to take part in research that involves brain scanning for which we can provide participants with an image of their brain. Most of our studies will also provide you with snacks and/or lunch and many will compensate you for your time in cash (£10/hour on average).
