Dr Loghin deepened her knowledge of Islam during a BA in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies and a DPhil in Modern Arabic Literature. After a one-year lectureship at CMEIS, University of Durham, she worked for several years on the publication team at Airbus in Toulouse, France, and then as a freelance book editor and translator, combined with teaching German on the Open Access course at the University of Birmingham.
