Dr Umesh Prabhu is a very high profile Medical Director for Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, who have an impressive record on safety, including winning the 2014 HSJ award for Patient Safety.

He is an active tweeter @UmeshPrabhu. In September 2015 Umesh and Chief Executive Andrew Foster gave a talk to the CQC Board on their Trusts’s patent safety performance, which is available here
