Parliamentary debates on the future of community hospitals

Helen Tucker, Deputy Chair of the Community Hospital Association, has been asked to produce a series of briefings to help inform today's parliamentary debate on the future of community hospitals.  Helen is working as part of HSMC's evaluation of community hospitals, funded by the National Institute for Health Research, which began in September 2014.

Over the next 3 years, this study will be mapping and surveying all community hospitals (joint with TSRC) across the UK to create a fully comprehensive and publicly available database of provision, exploring patient experience in community hospitals and seeking to shed light on the relationship between community hospitals and their local communities.
