HSMC Professor Russell Mannion and Honorary HSMC Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite have co-edited a new book: Healthcare systems: Future predictions for global care, with CRC Press (Taylor and Francis Group).

The book covers from around the globe (152 countries) what the future might hold for healthcare systems. Rather than focusing on western nations, like other healthcare literature, it provides a snapshot, along with case studies, of future predictions of health systems globally.

This third book in the series complements the previous two volumes edited by Russell Mannion and Jeffrey Braithwaite, Healthcare reform, quality, and safety: Perspectives, participants, partnerships and prospects in 30 Countries (published 2015) and Health systems improvement across the globe: Success stories from 60 countries (published 2017).
