Kelly is an Evaluation Fellow at the Health Services Management Centre and a member of the BRACE Rapid Evaluation Centre. Kelly has over nine years’ experience of managing applied health services research and evaluation across the charitable and public sectors. Kelly has considerable knowledge of healthcare systems and her main interests are around person-centred care, cancer services, management of long-term conditions, primary care and patient and service user experience and involvement. Prior to joining HSMC, Kelly worked at the research and evaluation consultancy ICF and Ernst and Young.

Biography

Prior to joining HSMC in June 2018, Kelly was a Senior Consultant at ICF (an independent research and evaluation consultancy) for five years, working in a team specialising in health services evaluation. At ICF, Kelly managed and worked on healthcare evaluations for a range of clients including Macmillan Cancer Support, Age UK, British Heart Foundation, NHS England, Cancer Research UK, The Health Foundation, CCGs and the Welsh Government. Kelly has worked across the complete lifecycle of healthcare evaluations from contributing to bid writing, project design, undertaking fieldwork, to outputs and dissemination. Kelly is particularly experienced in both qualitative research methods and has worked across a wide range of areas including long-term conditions; person-centred care; integrated care; service user involvement in the NHS; system redesign; and cancer services.
