The PPE Society is delighted to invite you to their flagship event, the PPE Forum. It is being held in the Guild Council Chamber, Guild of Students, on 24 March (16.45 pm).

There will be a range of distinguished speakers lined up for you and it promises to be an excellent debate.

  • Natalie Bennett (Leader of the Green Party)
  • Laura Sandys (Chair of the European Movement)
  • Richard Norton-Taylor (Former Defence & Security Correspondent for The Guardian)

  • Graham Brady (Conservative MP)
  • Keith Rowe (UKIP Birmingham Spokesmen)
  • Anthony Hopkins (UoB Polsis Lecturer)

Attendees will be able to question and debate with the panel directly on all matters to do with the EU, whether it be through a prearranged question or by simply raising your hand. We want you to make the debate as interactive as possible.

To be called upon for a question contact as at ppe@guild.bham.ac.uk, tweet us @BhamPPE or message us on Facebook.

Thanks to Hands up Funding from University of Birmingham alumni we are staging our largest event yet, the event will be a large question-style debate about whether or not Britain should stay or leave the European Union. The EU referendum is scheduled for the 23 June, and we want to know what you think.

There will be a distinguished panel of speakers with wide ranging views, you will have the opportunity to hear their stance on Britain’s membership of the EU and to ask them questions.

Free Refreshments provided at the interval.

More details regarding the agenda and tickets to follow soon.
