Practising social worker Shereese Cooper will speak about the realities and skills involved in care act assessments by looking at the assessment process from prior to meeting with a service user, until the completion of the case. There will be an opportunity to observe a live service user interview, and to see how information can be effectively gathered to complete an assessment.
