"I never regret my decision to be a part of the University of Birmingham"

Why did you choose to study at the University of Birmingham?

I am enormously interested to continue my further study at the University of Birmingham as I believe that the University is the best step for preparing my long-term journey to be an expert in football medicine. Learning from an acknowledged institution with a strong teaching and research history, the experiences, skills, attitude, and knowledge that I obtain during my proposed study at University of Birmingham will benefit me greatly in achieving my future success.

What made your course at Birmingham stand out for you?

The main reason that compels me to apply for MSc in Exercise and Sport Medicine (Football) at University of Birmingham is that it provides a wide opportunity to learn from world-class curriculum since this programme has been developed through a partnership between The Football Association and the University of Birmingham. By that reason, the programme would be more comprehensive than other universities’ programmes - which provide football medicine only as a specialisation of their master degree in sport medicine, and supported by its renowned and qualified teaching and research staffs, will be a suitable medium for succeeding my MSc project.

How did you find living in Birmingham?

Living in the second largest city in the UK with its diversity provided me with tons of experience and surely shape my personal development. Studying in the heart of England as an international student destination, with its vast opportunities and extensive links to healthcare and research institutions, I could find myself easily settle in this great city.

How did you find the level of support you have from your lecturers?

The support from the lecturers was top-class. They are more than happy to guide and help you through the programme. My programme leader was approachable and really helpful with me along my course. As an international student, what else you could ask for!

Any tips or words of wisdom that you would like to pass on to other students thinking of coming to study here?

As the only university that offers a specific football-related programme with fantastic learning environment, I never regret my decision to be a part of the University of Birmingham.
