Biography

Pearlene Antoine-Pitterson Received her BSc in Physiotherapy from Keele University.  She was awarded an NIHR Masters in Clinical Research and she has progressed to work alongside the British Thoracic Society contributing to national guidance on the management off patients with complex ventilation needs.

Other activities

  • Associate at Education for Health a delivering teaching session to help health care professions continue their professional development.
  • Chartered society of Physiotherapy.
  • British Thoracic society and is an active member of the Critical Care specialist advisory group. As part of the role she is asked to comment on national guidance and help to create national guidance of the care of patients with complex ventilation needs.
  • Non-Invasive Ventilation lead Physiotherapist at Heartlands Hospital part of the University hospitals Birmigham NHS trust.
