Chen-an is PhD student from Taiwan in School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, now he is in his a fourth year of the study.

Biography

Chen-an finished his undergraduate degree major of psychology at National Chengchi University (Taiwan), then decided to focus on the sport and exercise psychology of higher academic achievement. His research interest during the master program was the effect of positive motivation among high school basketball player and university students. On completion his master degree in National Taiwan sport university, he completed his national service as a physical training corporal.

Chen-an worked as a research assistance in National Taiwan Normal University (Taiwan) from 2009-2010. He had fruitful research experience during that period and received the financial support from the education ministry of Taiwan government, for pursuing of his PhD study at University of Birmingham (UK) He is now under Professor Joan Duda’s supervision.

Research

Chen-an’s research interest is the association between the objective physical activity data (acceleromatry data) and other psychological variables among rheumatoid arthritis patients.
