As a member of the Library Services Executive Group, I lead strategy for academic engagement with Schools and Colleges, and academic skills support. This role involves overseeing the work of the teams which provide engagement services and research skills support to the University's five Colleges. In addition, I have responsibility for the learning enhancement team which provides a wide range of skills support to taught students through the Academic Skills Centre. Prior to working at Birmingham, I managed the Arts and Humanities academic liaison team at the University of Reading, and also had an institution-wide remit for the Library’s taught course provision.
