Jingya is a PhD student at the Institute of Applied Health Research.

Jingya qualified with a BSc in Health Laboratory Technology in 2013. After completing her MPH at the University of Birmingham, she developed an interest in clinical epidemiology and research methods. In 2015, she was awarded the Li Siguang scholarship jointly by the University of Birmingham and China Scholarship Council for her Doctoral research at the University of Birmingham.


Her main research interests are on clinical epidemiology of endocrinology, especially endocrine disorders in mothers and babies.  She also developed a particular interest in data mining using machine learning methods.
