Deborah McCahon is an Honorary Research Fellow in Institute of Applied Health Research.  She is a Research Fellow in Primary Health Care at the University of Bristol. 

Dr Deborah McCahon was formerly a Lecturer within the Institute of Applied Health Research. Deborah has longstanding and diverse research experience and expertise within a Primary Healthcare setting. Over the last 16 years, Deborah has been involved in developing, planning, conducting and delivering a range of research. Her portfolio of work includes Randomised Controlled Trials (RCT), cross-sectional studies, questionnaire research, systematic literature review and longitudinal work in a range of topics including thyroid dysfunction, oral anticoagulation management and irritable bowel syndrome. Deborah is also an experienced and committed lecturer/tutor having significant experience in the development, management and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
