I teach Academic English on the BIA Foundation and Insessional Programme from September through to March, as well as assisting students with mathematics issues on the EPS Pathway through a tutorial system. From May through to September, I have coordination responsibilities on the summer Presessional programme.

Biography

I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 1990, mostly in Italy, and English for Academic Purposes since 2002. I have co-authored with Jonathan Smith ‘Pronunciation’ in the English for Academic Study Series: Garnet Education (2007). I am the author of a number of articles on teaching for the Guardian Newspaper and English Teaching Professional.

I requalified as a mathematics teacher in 2014.
