I have taught and led departments in several different countries including, Malaysia, Borneo, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the UK. I have championed the use of technology to support learning and teaching and set up new learning management systems at the Higher colleges of Technology and Anglia Ruskin University. I have completed several studies on using technology for teaching and learning. The focus of my research has been sociocultural theory and how knowledge is acquired via technology.
