Chelsea Bailey is a Teaching Fellow in Marketing at the University of Birmingham. Prior to this post, she completed her doctorate at Warwick Business School and occupied various account management posts in the hospitality, automotive and sports marketing sector.
Her main research interests surround issues related to consumer behaviour in tourism and service settings. She researches the marketing, presentation and interaction with Authenticity and Narrative Transportation at heritage sites. She is also interested in the role of sponsored content on social media, brand perceptions and trust, sponsorship and co-branding in sports partnerships, and consumer engagement. She delivers lectures and manages modules on Strategic Brand Management and Marketing communications.
