Dr Lin Tian joined the CHASM as a research fellow in April 2020. Her research interests lie in applied microeconomics with a focus on household behaviours.

Lin joined the CHASM as a research fellow in April 2020 and is currently working on a CHASM project on social housing and wellbeing. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham. Her PhD thesis explores households’ saving, consumption and financing behaviours on the one hand, and health shock and financial literacy on the other hand. Her research interests include household finance, financial inclusion, housing and wellbeing and health economics.
