Fatma is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Monteiro lab with particular interest in haematopietic stem cells and vascular biology. Fatma’s research is currently focused on studying the function of TGFβ signalling to control programming of haemogenic endothelium during early zebrafish development.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, State University of New York at Stony Brook, 2010
  • BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics, METU, 2004
