Garry Cooper-Stanton is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing within the School of Nursing at the University of Birmingham. He has been a qualified adult nurse for over 13 years, and still currently practises as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Lymphoedema. 

Garry has worked across a number of sectors, public (NHS), private (business) and charitable focusing on primary care (community). In recognition of his commitment and passion to primary care he was awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse from the Queen’s Nurse Institute.  Garry has a number of articles related to his specialist field, and completed an MSc in this area.  Other related roles include occupational health and community nursing which are utilised within his teaching and practice.
