Soher Jayash is a Research Fellow in the School of Dentistry.

She obtained her PhD in bone regeneration from faculty of Dentistry, University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2017. Her PhD was focussed on the in vitro and in vivo evaluations of newly formulated osteoprotegerin-chitosan gel in bone regeneration by using advanced techniques available at University of Malaya.

She got a Master of Clinical Dentistry (Oral Medicine and Periodontology) from Cairo University, Egypt.

Biography

Soher completed a MClinDent in 2012 and a PhD in 2017. Her PhD was in the Schools of Dentistry and was focused on development of novel osteoprotegerin-chitosan gels for bone tissue regeneration and their characterisation using cellular biology, molecular, biochemical, histological and high-resolution peripheral quantitative CT imaging methodologies. She also had conducted animal, and human based studies. She published articles in international ISI journals.

She joined the School of Dentistry in June 2018 as a Research Fellow. She worked on development of tissue engineering gels and potential transfer stem cells and protein for bone regeneration.
