Priya started working for the University of Birmingham Dubai in May 2018 and currently teaches for the BSc and MSc Computer Science programmes.

Priya became a Teaching Fellow in the Heriot Watt University Dubai in 2005 and taught for the School of Mathematics and Computer Science programs for 7 years. She also completed the Postgraduate Studies in Academic Practice and obtained the Fellow of Higher Education Academy – FHEA status in 2008. 

Priya became the Director of postgraduate studies for the MSc IT and Software Engineering programmes in 2009.

Previously, Priya worked as a Professor in Sheridan College, Toronto, Canada from 2015 to 2018 in the School of Applied Computing and taught for their Mobile Computing Applications programme. She also worked as a Software Developer in Toronto, involved in creating cloud systems for various clients in North America.

Priya started working for the University of Birmingham Dubai in May 2018 and currently teaches on the MSc Computer Science modules.
