Souad is a University of Birmingham Alumnus, obtaining her PhD in Clinical Neurology at the College of Medical and Dental Sciences in 1999. Souad is currently working as an Experimental Officer at the Human Biomaterials Resource Centre (HBRC). Souad undertakes all aspects of sample management from consenting patients for donation of samples to managing the laboratories within the HBRC, ensuring all aspects of HTA compliance is met. One of her key roles is the establishment of the high spec laboratory service within the HBRC focusing on delivering a high quality and technologically advanced service.
