Elizabeth has worked as a Clinical Tutor on the Clinical Psychology course since 2009, which includes liaison with placement providers within the NHS and third sector, organizing placements, training supervisors and working to resolve any difficulties if they occur. In addition Elizabeth is involved in coordinating the Systemic and Learning Disabilities sub-courses and has lead the admissions process for Overseas candidates for the ClinPsyD course since 2015.

Biography

Dr Elizabeth Kent worked with individuals with a learning disability and those experiencing eating distress before taking on her role of Clinical Tutor with the Clinical Psychology Course.

Teaching

Main teaching areas include reflective practice, models of supervision, supervision in general, preparation for placement and communications skills training. Coordinator of systemic teaching on the ClinPsyD.

Research

Research interests include qualitative methodologies, eating distress, the patient experience, systemic thinking.
