We have now allocated all remaining rooms and contacted all of the students outside of the Guarantee Scheme whom we were unable to allocate, advising of alternative accommodation options available. We appreciate that this may be an anxious time for those of you still looking for accommodation and we will do our best to support you in finding alternative accommodation.
A number of studio apartments and a small number of en-suite rooms in private purpose-built student accommodation are still available. Also, Guild Lettings (the University’s preferred lettings agency run by the Guild of Students) has a number of rooms available in shared student houses. You can also search for rooms and flatmates on Birmingham Student Pad (the University’s official property search engine).
A small number of rooms in University accommodation may also become available through cancellations over the next few weeks. Please note that at this stage we cannot predict or guarantee how many rooms will become available as part of this process. If you would like to go on a waiting list for University accommodation, or discuss anything else about your accommodation needs, please contact Living.
In order to assist you with your search for private sector accommodation, we have developed an interactive online guide to help - just go to our online portal and login using your Student ID number to start using it.
