    Why Clinical Oncology at Birmingham?

    Birmingham is a major centre for cancer treatment, both adult and paediatric. It is also home to the West Midlands Genomic Medicine Centre, part of the 100,000 genomes project, led from University Hospital Birmingham.

    Draws on expertise from staff within the Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences and clinical staff from Birmingham Hospitals plus invited speakers from across the country.

Entry requirements

We welcome students who have at least six months experience working in an oncology environment.

You will also need an undergraduate degree in a suitable subject.

English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band.

Holders of a Bachelors degree of four years duration from a recognised university in the Saudi Arabia will be considered for postgraduate study. Holders of Bachelors degree will normally be expected to have achieved a GPA of 3.0/4, 3.75/5 or 75% for 2:1 equivalency.

Fees and funding

Annual tuition fees for international students for 2024/25 entry:

Full-time: £30,840

Part-time (per year): £14,670
