    The programme’s flexible design allows you to study independently, 24/7, and at times suitable to you.

    As a fully enrolled student at the University of Birmingham your general requirements will be managed by highly experienced and qualified members of the distance learning team from the School of Dentistry. You will also have personal 24/7 access to one of the world's most advanced online dental education platforms.

Entry requirements

The course is designed for dentists at all stages of their careers, anywhere in the world.

For the duration of course you must be employed in a suitable clinical setting that will provide patients requiring a range of restorative treatments, on which case report exercises are based.

The University will consider students who hold a Bachelors degree of three or four years in duration from a recognised university in India. Holders of Bachelors degree will normally be expected to have achieved 55% - 60% or higher for 2:1 equivalency depending on the awarding institution.

Either: A four-year Bachelors degree (first class or very good upper second class)

Or: A three-year Bachelors degree (first class) from recognised institutions in India.

Fees and funding

Tuition fees for international students for 2024/25 entry:

£26,280 (over 2 years)

60% of the fee to be charged in year one (£15,768) and 40% in year two (£10,512).
