As a Birmingham Business School student, you benefit from two award-winning Careers teams.

BBS Careers is an exclusive service for Birmingham Business School students, offering personalised guidance, support, and valuable work experiences. With workshops, alumni events, and individual consultations, you will be equipped to excel during and after university by enhancing your skills and preparing you for internships, placements, and graduate roles. Unique in providing lifelong support, the team will assist you at every career stage, from summer internships to management positions years after graduation.

Careers Network is the University of Birmingham careers and employability team offering career fairs, employer events with top firms across the UK, start-up and entrepreneurial activities, and support. Internships and bursaries are also available exclusively to University of Birmingham students.

Professional Development module

You will have the opportunity to take advantage of a work placement during your final year by undertaking the Professional Development Module as part of your optional module choices.

    Accept your offer

    If you haven't already, in order to accept and secure your place at Birmingham, you must respond to your offer by the date stated in your offer letter. This deadline refers to your acceptance of the offer, not the fulfilment of conditions. To respond to the offer, click on the ‘Respond to Offer’ link within your applicant portal.
