“The Skills4Uni challenge taught me about the academic expectations of university and the fundamental differences between A-Level and Degree level teaching. The study-skills portal also acted as a vital resource to refer back to during times of uncertainty. Particularly during my first few months at university, I used the online platform to remind myself of anything I was unsure of, this included recapping where was best to find good wider reading resources and how to avoid plagiarism in my essays.”

“Since completing Skills4Uni I realise that the non-academic pressures of university (such as weekly food shops, washing etc.) have to be balanced alongside academic deadlines. The 'Find Information' module has definitely helped me organise my time effectively and I now keep a daily 'to do list' to ensure productivity both in and outside my studies.”
