Place of Welcome

The Exchange is part of the Places of Welcome network, an initiative that provides a welcoming place to go for a friendly face, a cup of tea and a conversation if and when it's need. With over 450 Places of Welcome across the UK, we're proud to be part of this important initiative.

What does it mean to be a Place of Welcome?

As a Place of Welcome we provide a warm and friendly space for people to get together for a catch up and conversation over a hot drink.

The drop in get togethers are the same time every week and open to everyone from the community.

Although it sounds simple, there are many challenges that can prevent people from being able to create these human connections which are so important for mental and physical wellbeing. A Place of Welcome ensures everyone has the opportunity to access this.

When is our Place of Welcome get together?

Our place of welcome drop in get together runs from 16:30 - 18:00 every Wednesday. There's no need to book and it doesn't cost anything, so pop in for a catch up.
