This semester 1 module will focus on a topic in contemporary biology or biochemistry, under the supervision of a member of staff. This component will provide experience in the use of information databases to access literature in the library and on-line. The review will follow the general format of a review article in a scientific journal (see below). An overview of the topic and the background literature will be presented in an oral presentation at the end of semester 1.
