JH Classical Literature and Civilisation Modules Year 2

Second Year

  • Study Tour A and B

The Study Tour is a compulsory element of all CAHA SH degree programmes. It gives students the opportunity to plan and undertake travel in the Easter vacation to various parts of the world (usually Europe, and potentially Egypt and Middle East, subject to FCO security advice) to visit sites, monuments and museums of particular interest to their degree programmes. Where changes in political situations and/or costs may affect study tour planning activities, these will be taken account of by the department and students instructed accordingly. Group work is key to the module: students plan, travel and present work as a group of (normally 2-6 students in a group). The University provides a subsidy towards expenses.
