Year One

An appreciation for the various personality and social-psychological factors that underlie participation and performance in physical activity contexts is an important aspect of Sport and Exercise Science. In this module you will learn basic concepts of sport and exercise psychology. More specifically, the mod-ule focuses on: individual differences and sport behaviour with particular em-phasis on anxiety and self-efficacy; motivation in physical activity contexts; group processes; morality in sport; and exercise psychology.
