The module will take a narrative journey through an encounter between a physiotherapist and a patient, drawing on psychosocial theory to interpret what might happen and how a physiotherapist may respond. The module is designed to introduce students to patient-centred care and importantly will provide opportunities for them to develop some knowledge and skills that will enable them to carry it out. The service user voice will feature heavily in this module.
