Accommodation Open Day

Our Accommodation Open Day is an opportunity for students arriving in September to visit all our undergraduate accommodation.

The next Accommodation Open Day will be on 23rd March 2019.

For an idea of what an open day is like, please take your time to watch the video below.

What's on offer?

There will be a free coach service running at regular intervals to all our accommodation, starting from Pritchatts Park Village at 10.00am. Please ensure you arrive early to allow enough time to view all accommodation as the estimated time you will need to view all the accommodation is around 4 hours. We recommend that you view as much accommodation as possible and not just your preferred options, this way when you receive your offer of accommodation in the summer you will have a good idea of what to expect. There will be catering outlets available for you to purchase food and drink.

All of our villages will have at least one flat in each residence open for viewing. And there'll be staff and student ambassadors on hand to give you more information on residence fees and amenities.

Finding us

All our accommodation is located within a 2 mile radius of the main Edgbaston campus. You can easily walk to the Vale Village, Pritchatts Park Village or Selly Oak Village from the University train station and main car parks. These will be signposted on the day.

The car parks that will be available on the day will be confirmed closer to the date.

Starting point

To make the most of your day we recommend that you start at Pritchatts Park Village, Pritchatts Road and from there we have a coach service to take you to the other villages.

If, after visiting the Accommodation Open Day and viewing all of our accommodation, you would like to change your preferences, you can do this easily by logging back into your online application and simply rearrange or add to your original choices.
